Bye, bye, bye
Last Thursday we bid the POD goodbye and reclaimed the driveway we hadn’t been able to use for a full five months. While the product is a good one and the customer service outstanding, for us it was a waste. I thought the process was going to be much quicker but the hurdles I had to jump and walls I came up against thanks to my mother dragged things out much longer than I had wanted or anticipated.
Hindsight is useless and had I known I wouldn’t have participated in the entire fiasco in the first place, but at the very least I would have put the POD rental money away for movers and called it a day. I guess if I’m going to find the hokey silver lining in this it’s that our exit from hell was 1000% quicker because all of our things were still in the POD when we booked. Only our furniture and things like TVs and some major appliances needed to be moved by the movers. The remainder returned to our driveway a day later. So, whatever.
