Lazy, cold Sunday
The girls are in the basement and Jeff and Iain are busy taking back the recycling and shopping so I sit here half-watching TV, surfing the net and blogging. It’s raining like crazy outside and after the temperature dips tonight, we’re supposed to get some snow. It’ll be not much more than a dusting but it will replace the snow that has melted from the warmth and rain.
I haven’t felt like blogging the last couple nights. By the time I get some quiet to gather my thoughts, I’m tired. I don’t do well trying to concentrate around the hectic flow of the house and noise from the TV. I think this is why I drive without the radio on and many times don’t bother turning on the TV if no one is around. Jeff doesn’t understand it but he also doesn’t deal with the constant noise in my day. Noise in and of itself doesn’t bother me; it’s irregular noise — the squawking of the TV, whining, yelling, talking, playing, etc. that drives me crazy. Speaking of which, Iain and Jeff have returned and it’s business as usual.
More later. The headache has commenced.
