Handy links Monday or Tuesday or whenever
I don’t know if I’ll make this a regular thing but I come across items in my feed that while handy or interesting, don’t merit their own post. So, I’m going to try and make a list of this stuff and post them on Mondays. Or maybe Thursdays. Or maybe when I damn well please.
Now, without further ado . . .
- Mail: Use a Pringles Can to Send Cookies — Want to send a friend (or me!) some cookies but don’t know how to package them so that they’ll travel well? Check it out and experiment with me.
- How to Become a Hobo — A step by step guide on how to become a successful transient worker.
- PhotoWorks Forgotten Film Event — PhotoWorks will digitally scan up to 5 rolls of your film and upload it to your PhotoWorks account. This doesn’t include prints and they don’t return the negatives but you can chose which, if any, images you’d like prints of. I like my negs so I won’t be participating but it’s great for anyone who comes across a stray roll in a drawer somewhere.
- 35 Free Graphics Programs — Some favorite free graphics programs courtesy of the social networking news blog, Mashable.
- MOO postcards! — I’m excited. I still haven’t ordered from MOO yet but I hear the products are great quality and postcards make me tingle. I’m on the fence about them as marketing tools but for show announcements and just plain fun they look promising. If you’ve used them, comment and let us know how you liked them.
- Fakeproject Corporation of America — Have you always wanted to be a graffiti artist but are too much of a perfectionist? Are you unsure of where to apply your urban art skillz? Fear not, dear tagger — practice here!
There you go. I made it go on Monday. Huzzah!
Maybe I’ll even update life soon. I need an assistant or a wife or something. Sheesh.
