Do you hear that?
Yes. Silence. I am alone in my house with no children around at all. Nothing. No one. Quiet.
I just dropped Iz off at preschool for her first official day. She looked absolutely adorable with her curly hair, striped sweater, shorts outfit and umbrella all eager to get inside and get the show on the road. I’m going to take my camera when I pick her up and get some pictures. All I can do is take a picture outside since we can’t go inside unless we sign ourselves in on the other side of the building. No matter. I had to ask her to come and give me a kiss and barely did I get an “I love you” past my lips before she turned around, went through the doors and into the locker room. I love her independence. It will serve her well in life.
Now time for coffee. Ahhhh.
