I’m not well
Just a quick entry because I feel horrible. It started yesterday around this time and just got worse. I was falling asleep sitting up and I shoved myself through the day but was in bed by 8:30 last night after I wasn’t even able to sit in front of the laptop without falling dead asleep. I’m not sure if it’s the new med I started yesterday (it’s an anti-inflammatory so don’t get excited; it’s nothing fun) or if I’m getting sick because while I’m feeling a bit nauseous (it’s not too bad), I also have dry mouth. Anyone have any experience with Naproxen? Jeff claims he’s really tired, too, but that may be psychosomatic. Who knows. All I know is if I didn’t have to pick up the kids from school, I’d go to straight to bed. That’s how exhausted I am.
The insurance adjuster came yesterday and she checked things out. The only thing I got out of her is that it looks like there’s water seeping/pushing its way in from the ground itself through the walls. I guess there’s some bubbling of the paint and that’s from the force of the water? Otherwise she said nothing about what is or is not covered and will get back with me on Monday. I’m not holding out hope if that’s the cause and now we’re probably looking at the cost of waterproofing the basement. I shudder to think how much that will cost.
