Lazy Sunday
I didn’t do much of anything today and that was fine by me. I’ve been so tired that it was a welcome change to just veg. Well, I sort of veg’d. The girls stayed at the in-laws’ last night and got to bed way too late. As a result I spent much of the day dealing with a cranky three year-old and cranky is really more of an understatement. After I finally calmed her down after multiple meltdowns, she fell asleep on the love seat. I was still exhausted from this week and my sleep has been shitty so I laid down, too. At one point she woke and started melting again so I held her while she slept. I can’t believe how big she is. My baby is growing up too fast.
I need to tackle something around here tomorrow. I don’t feel like hauling the kids to my mom’s so I’ll find something around here to get done. Laundry should keep me busy for days! I’m so tired it just occurred to me that what I’ll be doing tomorrow is getting together the things the kids need for their first day of school on Tuesday. I can’t believe the summer is over. Back to early mornings and hurried days.
