The Great Purge - Day 4
I knew turning my efforts upstairs would result in some minor drama. I finished the basement for the most part and am just waiting for more things to be hauled out before I start scrubbing down. I headed upstairs to tackle the job and it was much slower going. I knew it would be because my mom was sitting there making it hard to sort through things properly. I did get through all of the furniture that’s in what will be Iain’s room. I have to hit the closet tomorrow and that should be, um, fun. I’ll head to the girls’ room after that and then try to clean out the closets in the hallway. I’ll feel much better when this part is done so I can get in, clean, paint if the mood strikes and prep for the kids’ stuff to move in. I work much faster than things are going and it’s frustrating. I started every sentence in this paragraph with an “I”. I’ll end that way, too; I’m going to bed.
