New at Ikea
I’m checking out the newest arrivals at Ikea and found they have added a few more additions to their Billy bookcase line. This black/patterned style BILLY bookcase is really cute. I’d prefer it in a different color since I have nothing that would match this black but it’s still a cute design and hopefully a sign that more designs are on their way. They’ve added four new colors — black, black-brown, black/patterned and silver. I have the narrower version in beech with the glass door and love it.
Forever designing rooms in my head (most often for that office and studio I build in my mind), I’ve found a great selection of new furniture to fancy. My problem is picking a color I like best! The new KARLSTAD chair has nice clean lines and looks comfy to boot.
The KARLSTAD sofa would match it brilliantly. I love the red!
These SUPERFIN vases are darling and at $2.49, you can take a few and add your own artistic touches or a stalk or two of pussy willow or whatever else you fancy.
The SYNOPS dancers would look nice on a mantle or bookshelf.
My toes would love sinking into this FLOKATI rug. I seem to be drawn to the bold red.
This KATARINA fabric is making me, someone who rarely threads a needle, want an excuse to buy this. Or maybe I don’t need an excuse and I’ll buy it anyway hoping for inspiration to hit me and some kind soul teach me what to do with it. I don’t know how thick it is but if it’s a decent weight, it seems it would be great for making throw pillows or chair cushions.
