I broke my G string!

Made you look! No, the G string in question is on my violin. Or, rather, was on my violin. I was making a rather feeble attempt at tuning the poor thing and one thing led to another and PING — there went my G string. I won’t be able to get a new string until after Gracie’s class tomorrow so I’ll have to sit tight and wait until I get to the music store. I was hoping to practice the folk song we are learning in class and I wanted to practice Gracie’s solo with her but obviously that didn’t happen. Gracie so wisely suggested that I buy extra strings in case this happens again. What would I do without her?

suznyc: Well, play is a relative term but I am taking lessons. It was on my list of things to do before I died so there you have it. Ahem, if you read my blog you’d know this. Just sayin’. :P

Please, I’m too busy being the fashion police to bother reading your paltry blog.
