Sweet silence
That is exactly what I am enjoying (and I do mean enjoying) at the moment. The only sounds I hear (okay, so it’s not entirely silent) are the whirring of the fan and the gentle taps on my keyboard. The television is off (blasphemy!), the kids have been in bed for about an hour and Jeff is at a baseball game. I do so love this kind of peace. I don’t get it often. Be jealous. I know I would be.
By the way, click on the monk and visit Dan Santat’s blog. There’s some good work there and I guess my kids might already be fans of his work:
