100 Things - #97
I’m cheating a little making this #97 because I’m going to start doing it this week. I think it still counts because I’ve wanted to do it for a long time even if I haven’t put it down on paper (or pixels). So, #97 is to learn how to play an instrument with ditties beyond Chopsticks or screaming violins ala Psycho.
Since Gracie has been taking violin, it started me thinking about learning it myself. I mean, if Kindergarteners can do it I can, right? Well, that remains to be seen but I’d like to give it a try. It will also give me and Gracie a chance to practice together and, if nothing else, it will help her develop her skills. If I learn the fingering I can help her and then she can advance. I do think it would be fun to learn. Why not? If I sat here thinking I was too old to even start I may as well just stop leaving the house. Of course, some days that’s what I do but that’s something for another entry.
