Birth Marks
You may remember my recent entry, Barefoot in the Grass, where I posted about my friend, Cassie Fox, and her stunning photography. Well, she just received word from JPG Magazine that her submission, Birth Marks, has been chosen for publication. I’m so thrilled and excited for her!
I remember when she first showed me the image for her submission in the “Beauty Redefined” category. You can browse around and see how many people just did.not.get.it. Beauty redefined is not a photo of some chick in a bikini bending backward over a motorcycle. People, it’s beauty redefined. It’s not taking the socially ideal and contorting it to resemble a Ducati calendar. It’s not taking a naked chick and asking her to sit in a doorway while putting her legs up against the jamb eating an apple.
