100 things
It seems that most people have, even if it’s simply mental, a list of things they’d like to do before they die. I’ve never really thought about much until lately. The catalyst for my list is almost as odd as I am if you can believe it.
To keep the kids quiet I have a portable DVD player hooked up in the car and Cars 
has been in heavy rotation. Apparently the plot revolves around Route 66 and it got me to thinking that it would be a cool thing to do–drive Route 66 in its entirety. (Funny enough, the site I linked to mentions the resurgence of interest in Route 66 because of the movie Cars. Looks like listening to the movie from the front seat eleventy-million times has worked its magic. Good job, Pixar.)
So, folks, we have #100 in the list: Drive Route 66 from Chicago to L.A.
