I’m getting a bit irritated now that it’s been about four weeks since the IRS said our refund was going to be delayed. I called the call center on the day our refund was due in our account after checking the Refund Status page. According to them, our refund is being delayed because of a certain form we had to file this year. The delay? Four to six weeks. Maybe eight? Maybe twelve? Who the fuck knows. I check daily or semi-daily but I’ll be shocked if there’s any news any time soon. The big bitch of it all is that because of the build, I had that earmarked for a few things. Figures.
